Bardzo podobają mi się detale tego portretu. :) Kolory cudownie współgrają ze sobą, no i ten oryginalny kołnierzyk od ubrania...

it's wonderful! the only critique I have is that her left eye's iris shouldn't be cmpletely visible, as you are looking from a bit of side angle, I suppose, so if you look at it twice, it might seem as if it is looking at you or looking infront of her, i gess, that's just my opinion

Thanks for your opinion.
I have still some trouble with anatomy when I'm drawing stock-less, but I hope it will be better in time :)

oh she's beautiful! i love the soft colors used in her face and eyes- my crit/suggesstion for her would be: if you look at her head from a distance the top of it seems a bit flat~ the reason for this is because you have to remember there is a skull underneath your skin and your hair sits atop of that skin on your skull, in your pic you can already see the lift in the hair but if you look where the base of the hair would be, it's not atop her skull it's like .. part of it- making her head seem flat on top, does that make sense. it took me forever to get that just right, i ended up using real skulls for refrences unitl i became comfortable with it~ the only other thing i can see is her hairline, it seems a bit high in the front and a bit too far back on the side with her ear showing, if you look in a mirror the space between the side of your eye and the start of your hair isn't very large but on your image, it's a pretty large gap making it look just a little...off~ other than that it's perfect!

Those flowers are freaking awesome. Freaking awesome. I love them. Looking at one of the actual photos of you though, I'm not so sure the figure here looks quite like you. I dunno. I still think it's pretty sweet. Excellent digital painting skills, for sure! :)

Well, it wasn't supposed to be exact portrait, as I need it as a layout picture of my site ;) , but it was supposed to be close. More like a variation of my actual looks.

Thanks for your opinion ^^ I'm trying hard to improve my digital painting skills to be able to go truly professional one day ;)

Dobrze znac swoje slabe strony.

This is really beautiful - the soft colors give it kind of a dreamy feel. I really like how you did the nose, mouth, and ear and the eyes are quite striking. I'd say, if anything, the eyes are slightly too big for the face if you're going for more realism (I always have this problem!), though they look to be a good size if you're going for more of a stylized, animated look. The hair is gorgeous - great work on the detail in all that. I think it's lovely!

I still work on the eyes, the version I've just submitted has them slightly smaller but I don't know if it's enough. As for the realism problem, I try to reach it as much as it doesn't spoil the image's feeling ;> It's hard enough for someone who learned to draw on manga and Disney ;> Not much of a realistic background XD
Thanks for your input ^^

I'm the same way with Disney! I grew up on the whole Little Mermaid era movies and started drawing about then, so I always put big eyes on things! I like big eyes. :) I personally don't think you should change anything much about this - it's gorgeous. Also, I forgot to mention the first time, the rose petals are awesome - I love the texture in them. And the pearls are brilliant too.

Still, it's better to draw these big eyes conciously, not "by chance" ;>
I really loved Disney when I was in my early teens ^^ "Lion King", "Beauty and the Beast", etc ;) I also grew up on "Sailor Moon" and thus I drew anything but realistic bodies and faces :D That's why I'm trying to practice drawing some more realistic things for a change. Maybe when I'm better with realism, non-realism will look nicer on my drawings? ^^

Ah man...Sailor Moon! I didn't learn about Sailor Moon until college when my roommate told me about it. I made fun of her at first, but then watched it and what fun! I wish they still played it on TV. I crave it every so often!

The overall anatomy of the piece is strong. The bone structure is well balanced and your flesh tones are just beautiful. The lips and nose are very beautiful, and well placed... I think something about the eyes is a bit off, but it's hard to say. I apologize for not being able give you more input than that...

and the hair! SO BEAUTIFUL! Overall, this is an excellent composition... I am excited to see how you develop this

Thank for the input, it's very detailed anyway ^^
I'm working still on the eyes but I doubt I will make much changed.
Too much fixing if you don't really know what to fix leads to making it worse instead of better ;> But, I'm working on the eyelids, maybe that's the problem.

that is a possibility... make yourself happy with the piece, your confidence reflected in your work... and I know what you mean about too much fixing-- I have ruined pieces I really loved trying to fix them and going too far!

I understand what you mean. I discovered another system which works for me: try hard with a piece, but not too hard. If you think it's (relatively) ready, consider it done and go for another one. Then return - your skills will be better and you'll have fresh mind. That's why when I finish this one I'll try to fix Litha a bit :>

Generalnie urocze :)

Jezeli sie zablokuje, to robie pauze, zostawiam dana prace, rysuje cos innego, i potem wracam, zeby poprawic.

Niestety w pewnym momencie czlowiek przestaje widziec swoje bledy, bo sie zbyt z nimi opatrzyl ;> Dlatego jak skoncze to, to wracam do poprawiania "Litha", a dopiero potem zaczynam nowe.

;> I wzielam sie z garsc i teraz uprawiam przodownictwo pracy w nauce :D

Hihiihh :) Tyz prawda.
